The Three Blockages That Hinder the Healing of the Soul — and the Remedies of Heaven On the 18th day of the path of consecration, Brother Luiz Maria shows, with simple and firm language, that the Holy Spirit does not expose wounds to humiliate, but to heal. After recognizing our miseries, it is time for the remedy: the humility that opens space for grace. The preacher identifies three blockages that hinder spiritual life — and the respective steps to liberation: Lack of repentance (impenitence): without "I was wrong," there is no healing or forgiveness. Lack of forgiveness (rancor/resentment): whoever does not forgive closes the door to their own mercy. With the grace of God — and through the hands of Mary — the path is clear: confess, forgive, and renounce. Matthew 6:12 — “Forgive us… as we forgive…” Matthew 18:21–35 — The unforgiving servant (70 x 7). Matthew 11:12 — The Kingdom belongs to those who strive. Ephesians 5:10–11 — Discern what pleases God; Denounce the works of darkness. 📘 Church and Tradition: Catechism 1451–1453 — Contrition and repentance. Catechism 2840–2845 — Forgiving as we have been forgiven. Catechism 2116–2117 — Condemnation of divination, astrology, mediums, and occultism. Suggested devotional: Litany of Humility (to heal pride). 🙏🏻 Today's practice: 1) Confess (remedy for impenitence): make a sincere examination, schedule confession, and prepare yourself with acts of contrition. 2) Forgive (remedy for resentment): write the names of those who have hurt you; before the Crucified, pray for each one and declare forgiveness (repeat for 7 days). 3) Renunciation (remedy for occultism): at home, discard and destroy objects, books, amulets, and music linked to the occult; say this prayer: “In the name of Jesus, I renounce all practices and influences of darkness and consecrate my home to the Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.” Bonus combat: pray the Litany of Humility today and a rosary asking for the grace not to judge and not to hold grudges. Daily prayer: “Gentle and humble Jesus, grant me repentance; Mary, Mother of Mercy, teach me to forgive and to renounce all evil.
