What is the Blue House like when you visit with Professor Bowon? 1991년 지어진 본관은 노태우 대통령부터 문재인 대통령까지 7명의 대통령이 집무와 외빈 접견 시에 사용한 곳이다. 본관 외부에는 전통 건축양식의 팔자지붕에 15만 여장의 청기와를 올렸으며, 내부에는 현대적인 건축양식과 시설을 갖추고 있다. 본관 중앙부에는 2층 한옥양식의 본채를 두고, 그 좌우에는 단층 한옥양식의 별채를 배치하였다. 본채 1층에는 간담회나 소규모 만찬장으로 사용한 인왕실, 영부인의 공간인 집무실과 무궁화실이 있다. 2층에는, 대통령 집무실, 접견실 및 회의 장소로 사용한 집현실이 있다. 서쪽의 별채에는 국무회의가 열렸던 세종실, 동쪽의 별채에는 임명장 수여식 등에 사용된 충무실이 있다.
