Boat fuel tank pressure testing / water in fuel issues PT 1

Boat fuel tank pressure testing / water in fuel issues PT 1

After having several issues with water in the fuel on my boat, I needed to combat this big problem. I needed to know how so much water was getting into my tank and have the confidence my problem was not going to come back, so I looked for help. I searched for a mechanic or fuel tank manufacturer to help me test my fuel tank for leaks. After many calls, I found that all the local shops were a minimum 6 week wait because fishing season was about to start. Completely fed up and not wanting to miss out on my spring fishing season, I set out to do my own tank pressure testing and figure out how all this water was getting into the fuel, once and for all. Join me on the journey of acquiring my own tank pressure test kit and putting an end to my water in fuel issues.
