In the end the monks greed overwhelmed him (the pieces of cloth he has which is called kasaya (monks robes)) and it started the fire that burned it down. He rebuild it himself so he could recieve more offers. At the end of the video you see someone looking down at the burning scene, most likely the enemy from the first cutscene/fight. He probably orchastrated the whole thing because he wants to get his hands on the relic. And used the bear to do it. Black Myth: Wukong is an action role-playing game.
