Simeon and Anna were blessed beyond measure. Their eyes beheld the salvation of God, the baby Jesus brought right to them in the temple. Seeing Jesus brought forth from them a roaring outpouring of thanks and praise to God. There are times when we yearn to see Jesus face to face as they did. Today, let your yearning focus on the presence of Christ with us in His Word. Do you see? Here is your salvation, as present with you today as was the baby Jesus to Simeon and Anna. Let your joy pour out in thanks and praise today in worship, and flow out into the rest of your life as well.
