Similarly, a vegetarian animal, rat, but second class consumers like snake, cat, mongoose etc. are dependent on food. Some animals are consumers of more than one category. For example, man is a first class consumer by nature, who becomes a second class due to his eating of meat, fish, goat etc. due to his nature and becomes a third class consumer due to eating meat of non-vegetarian fish and birds. Similarly, rats, frogs and some birds are consumers of more than one category.
