D Day 75th Anniversary Memorial Video - Respect To All the Fallen
D Day 75th Anniversary Memorial Video - Respect To All the Fallen We created this video in honor of the WWII Veterans and those who died on D Day 6 June 1944. All Beaches were attended at the 75th Anniversary, Omaha, Utah, Gold, Sword And Juno each had memorial services for the fallen heroes of D Day. D Day 6 June 1944, for all our younger viewers was the largest invasion ever conducted by any force in the World. This force was to eject the tyranical army of the dictator Adolf Hitler, leader of The Nazi Party in Germany. The operation was code named "Overlord" and the main Allied Armies took part in evasive tactics for the months preceding D Day 4 June 1944. The secrecy of the operation was an amazing feat in Military History. The operation itself was successful, but at Omaha Beach the largest casualties were amassed. The pounding of teh beach by the large guns of the Naval ships was not as pin pointed as they hoped and many gun emplacements were not completely destroyed. These gun emplacements were what caused so many casualties. I have visited all the beaches and i have the utmost respect for all soldiers both defenders and invaders on both sides. I was walking with my wife onto Utah beach and my wife said i just walked on rusty barbed wire with wood and tacks on it and I turned around and told her that this was part of the structure defending the beach, in other words it was history. I took that history home with me and I am very proud to show it to all my friends and whoever is interested in seeing it. Please remember that the human beings that invaded on D Day did it to Free Europe from Oppression. Respect The Fallen, Lest We Forget. RIP All The Fallen Of D Day & WWII.
