A reading from the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 10:13-16 At that time, Jesus said: 13 "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, dressing in sackcloth and sitting in ashes. 14 Very well then: on the day of judgment, Tyre and Sidon will receive a more bearable sentence than you. 15 Woe to you, Capernaum! Will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will be thrown into hell. 16 Whoever listens to you listens to me; and whoever rejects you despises me; and whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me."
