Trinity EC Church Evening Christmas Eve Service - December 24, 2025

Title: The Mystery of Christmas Eve Scripture Micah 5:2-4 Scripture Luke 1:26-38 Scripture Matthew 1:18-23 Scripture Luke 2:1-20 Purpose Statement: We pause to consider one of the most exciting days in world history. We prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior from sin and seek to understand the birth of Jesus to Mary, with the help of Joseph. Christ was born into a dark world and a hopeless world. We claim Jesus is Emmanuel, God with us. If God is with us how do we experience the presence of Christ, our Savior, our hope who gives us courage, faith, love and who gives us strength? Let us resolve not only to celebrate Christmas for a day, but to keep its spirit and message throughout an entire year. How did people find Christ? What should we expect at Christmas? If we approach Christmas with eyes and hearts open to Jesus life will become more wonderful, as with the wise men we, too, follow the star lighting the way to the Peace of Christ.
