EASY SPRING EASTER DECOR~SHABBY CHIC~FARMHOUSE~DollarTree DIYs|2023@hometoinspirediyanddecor
In this video I am making 2 signs for Easter and spring. Using mostly DollarTree supplies. I made the first diy with a wood pallet sign, some wood chunks, rub on letter transfers, some “PUMPKIN”chalk paint, wood tint by FOLKART and wood bunny cutouts. I tinted the pallet then painted each piece of wood stump with orange paint. I used letter transfers and burnished onto each wood stump. I cut each bunny wood pieces in half and glued them down leaving a gap to place the wood stump. I also used some Easter ribbon and a wired leaf garland which I used to make a small wreath. I painted the bunny word in “PLASTER” chalk paint. I glued the pieces down and added a buffalo check ribbon and this one came out so cute. I hope you like this one. It was simple to do and quick to make. The 2nd diy was made from a chalkboard mason jar decor sign, another pallet sign, a diecut Sticker from Hobby a lobby, some spring themed wood cutouts from an assorted pack from DollarTree, some pearl stickers. I tinted the pallet decor with Folkart wood tint. I used “FARMFRESH” paint over the mason jar. I then added some rub on transfers with the spring floral designs I also painted the wood pieces before gluing onto the mason jar decor. I adhered the yellow flower diecut sticker to the bottom left corner before attaching the wood pieces. To further embellish, I used some pearl stickers to define certain areas. I also used some scrap pieces of greenery and glued onto the pallet before gluing the mason jar onto the pallet. This one came out beautiful and is giving me French or Parisian vibes. This has a nice spring touch but would be a great accent anytime of year as it is neutral enough. I love how these both came out and I hope you all did as well!
