In part two of this tutorial we will be focusing on the black cat part of the piece. What’s great about this one is it shows you how I draw cats and what I think about when drawing pet portraits, but how to also take into consideration the surroundings and colours of the background. Because of the scene the cat is in, there are lots of bolder purples and blues and greys in the cats fur. Which also helps to give this more of a magical feeling.
