I have stopped paying for streaming services like Disney + as igot fed up of paying for streaming services to watch what i want when i want. Streaming services are costing viewers more monthly fees than ever before. Now people are taking control of their exspenses to save and get more value for their money. Now People are jumpimg back into physical media, as they own the physical movie compared to long term licence rental that can be revoked at anytime losing content you have paid for. In todays video i will be sharing why physical media is more worth investing in than streaming services. The Goonies 25th Anniversary Collector's Edition includes fun collectible swag like a board game, storyboard cards and mini reprints of two magazines. The content on the DVD and Blu-Ray is the same as the currently available 2001 US DVD and 2008 UK Blu-Ray discs- but with all the new rich stuff, this release would be a sweet second copy for any Goonie's movie collection. Many thanks to Warner Brothers for sending the DVD and this footage from the October 27th release party featuring Richard Donner and some of the cast... I will be unboxing my favourite Goonies Collection Edtion i would like to see released as a Goonies 4k colletion set. Warner Bros. released it on June 7, 1985, in the United States. The film grossed $61.5 million worldwide and has become a cult film The Goonies 25th Aniversary Collection Set Includes: From the imagination of Steven Spielberg, The Goonies plunges a band of small heroes into a swashbuckling surprise-around-every corner quest beyond their wildest dreams! Following a mysterious treasure map into a spectacular underground realm of twisting passages, outrageous booby-traps and a long-lost pirate ship full of golden doubloons, the kids race to stay one step ahead of a family of bumbling bad guys???€?and a mild mannered monster with a face only a mother could love. AUDIO/VIDEO/EXTRAS Audio English 5.1 DTS HD with optional French and Spanish as well as subtitles English for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, French, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Chinese and Korean. Optional audio commentary with Director Richard Donner and all seven actors: Jonathan Ke Quan, Corey Feldman, Sean Astin, Kerri Green, Martha Plimpton, Jeff Cohen and Josh Brolin. Hidden Treasures -- The above optional audio commentary starts off as a long Last Supper table with Donner at the middle and periodically, cuts back to them throughout, placing the film in the bottom right corner. The Making of The Goonies -- the 1985 featurette with a young Richard Donner and cast (as well as an equally young Steven Spielberg). Deleted scenes -- a couple deleted scenes including the infamous octopus and explains just how the map is burned later on... Troy’s fault. Music video -- Cyndi Lauper’s “The Goonies ‘R’ Good Enough” -- oddly enough, one of my friends thought she was singing “it’s Goonie love for you, it’s Goonie love for me...” Theatrical trailer -- While amusing, watching it, I don’t know that any aspect of movie making has come along as far as trailers have. I don’t think you could sell a modern audience on the masterpiece that is this movie with that trailer. Additionally, off-disc included materials are a 20th Anniversary Empire Magazine “where are they now” insert, a pocket-sized The Goonies Souvenir magazine, and a Goonies board game (good for you and one to three of your friends). #physicalmedia #Home-CinemaEnthusiast #Goonies25thaniversarycollection
