As daylight begins to break, Tristan (male) flies up to the chimney top with a large rodent for Isolde (female). She arrives after a few calls and the two exchange prey. Tristan flies off leaving Isolde with her breakfast. She flies down behind a few trees and Tristan flies into view landing on top of her. Copulation takes place then he flies to the wall to stand guard while Isolde consumes her prey. When Tristan hears some crows he departs as does Isolde a few minutes later.
