Equity Bank Scholarships
More than 1,200 pupils who performed exceptionally well during last year's KCPE exams but are unable to progress to secondary schools owing to their disadvantaged positions are to benefit from scholarships courtesy of the equity group and MasterCard foundations. The scholarship programme, the country's largest, was launched by president Kibaki. Andrew Ochieng reports.
