Planetside 2 VS Lancer TTK - Charged vs Rapid Fire (Target Lightning Side)

Killing a Lightning using the full charge on the Lancer is only 2.09 seconds faster than using single shots, rapid fire. While charging does do more damage, and can completely kill the Lightning in 2 batteries, rapid fire single shots take 3 batteries to get the Lightning down to critical, but not a direct kill. Given than using single shots does less damage and uses more ammo, it isn't as effcient. If you were to remove the reloading times from both of these methods (imagine a infinate battery) single shots would have the better DPS. Add this together with the risks of waiting for a charge, and the likelyhood to hit your moving target with rapid fire compared to a full charge..... You decide!
