Jesus is the True Vine not church clubs

The church today sees itself as the vine and its members as the branches. They teach that apart from the vine you can do nothing. If you break off from the vine, you are as a branch that will wither up and die. If you stop coming, you will not be fed. They themselves have made themselves in the place of Moses. They seat themselves in the seat of GOD Himself! And they will tell you that if you are disconnected from THEM you will wither up and you will perish and then you will be thrown into the fire, just as Jesus said in John chapter 15. I encourage you however to read ALL of chapter 15 of John. You will notice that Jesus is the Vine, NOT the church. You will notice that the branches are those who abide in Jesus, they are NOT church attendees. If we abide in Jesus it is through prayer and obedience, not by church attendance and staying plugged in to the organized church body. Churches are nothing more than a social club with people who come to read a book for education. They are NOT drawing close to Jesus and they are not abiding in Him. The words of Jesus are NOT in these Christians, these Christians are part of a totally different vine. They are connected to the vine of Churchianity. But disciples of Jesus are connected to HIM, they are connected to the TRUE VINE. Which vine are you connected to today? May the grace of Jesus be with you.
