Revealing the Contradiction in Genesis 2:7's 'Breath of Life'
The Paradoxical Contradiction of “Breath of Life” (Gen. 2:7) You Must Grasp Genesis 2:7 God … breathed the breath (H5397) of life into his nostrils… H5397 נְשָׁמָה nᵉshâmâh from H5395 (נָשַׁם); a puff, i.e. wind, angry or vital breath, divine inspiration, intellect. or (concretely) an animal: KJV - blast, (that) breath(-eth), inspiration, soul, spirit. H5395 נָשַׁם nâsham naw-sham'; a primitive root; properly, to blow away, i.e. destroy: KJV - destroy. You weren’t expecting that we’re you?! The same “breath” of life at Creation includes the meaning “destroy.” As God gives life, so He can destroy life. (1 Samuel 2:6) This seems contradictory to a “God of love,” so prevalent nowadays. God has specific circumstances under which He’ll destroy humans. The Bible is full of such examples, so you shouldn’t be surprised This is the 2nd Key to Master Biblical Hebrew, contradictory meanings. https://TheExplanation.com/challenge Read Mind-Body Problem Solved for deeper comprehension. https://TheExplanation.com/mind Watch this next video: • Consciousness and Mind, the Way to the Ima... to grasp the significance of how one Hebrew word can have opposite meanings.
