For today, I would like to share a song called “God, you satisfy my soul ” This song is based on Psalm 63, and it was given to me while I was praying in Friday night worship service Psalm 63 is written by king David while he was in the wilderness, being chased from his son Absalom However, interestingly, if you look at this Psalm, there aren’t any complains or resentments Only confession of his faith and gratitude is written As I was reading this Psalm, I could find out and realize that David was remembering all the love and grace that God has poured out upon his life even in the wilderness form each passage In verse 3 & 4 “Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands ” In this passage, David is confessing that God’s steadfast love is even better than his own life because the tremendous love that he has experienced by God was much greater Therefore, despite the situation, he is confessing that he is more than a conqueror through God’s love and grace This is why we can confess that God truly satisfies our soul I hope everyone would be blessed with the same confession that David has made!
