Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman sheds light on improving the quality of life of citizens in the most backward areas. In an attempt to improve the quality of life of citizens in the remotest areas, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announces a Vibrant Villages Program scheme that will focus on improving the activities of the people in the remotest of areas. Under the Vibrant Villages Program, the activities that will be included are the construction of village infrastructure, housing, and tourist centres among others. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman further added that almost 1 Lakh Post Offices will come on the core banking solution, which will further bring financial inclusion.
