Off Forbidden Wisdom # Apostle Grace Lubega # Phaneroo Devotions

Phaneroo Devotions for Monday, 13th February 2023 By Apostle Grace Lubega. Titled; Off Forbidden Wisdom. 1 Corinthians 2:7 (KJV); But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: The human spirit has an appetite for the unknown. It is consistently in search of what is novel. In Acts 17:21, the Bible speaks of Athenians and strangers who spent their time in nothing else but to tell or hear something new. This thirst in the human spirit is what the devil manipulated in the Garden of Eden and caused the fall of man (Genesis 3). God has not ordained for everything that is hidden to be dug out; some things are deliberately hidden by God for the preservation of the sons of men. In our theme scripture, God reveals that what He has hidden for us is for our glory. Anything hidden that does not bring glory to God and His children should not be searched out. What we seek is hidden in God. It means that when people access forbidden wisdom, it is because they look for things outside the Spirit and essence of God. This comes as a caution to the seeker. While we have the liberty to search out the depths of the Spirit, walk in the spiritual realm and acquaint ourselves with the world of the unseen, we must guard ourselves against opening our spirits to what is forbidden by God. Only the Spirit of God can satisfy our divine curiosity. It is He who leads us into all truth (John 16:13). Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: Acts 17:21, Genesis 3:1-7. GOLDEN NUGGET: While we have the liberty to search out the depths of the Spirit, walk in the spiritual realm and acquaint ourselves with the world of the unseen, we must guard ourselves against opening our spirits to what is forbidden by God. Only the Spirit of God can satisfy our divine curiosity. It is He who leads us into all truth. PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for opening the unseen world to me. I am deeply acquainted with the realm of spirits. Even with this acquaintance, I do not walk alone but I am led by the Holy Spirit. I see what He alone shows, taste what He alone gives and hear what He alone opens my ears to, in Jesus’ name, Amen. More info please visit; https://phaneroo.org/daily-devotion/
