n this lecture, I have explained Properties of Cardiac Muscles in detail. These Properties are 1. Excitability 2. Rythmicity 3. Conductivity 4. Contractility Excitability- Action Potential is described. Rythmicity- Pacemaker, Sinus Venosus, Stannius Ligature Experiment, Pacemaker Potential are described. Conductivity- Conductive tissues of Heart are explained- AV node, Bundle of His, Right and Left Bundle Branches, Purkinje Fibres. Contractility- Contractile Properties of Heart: All or None Law, Staircase Phenomenon, Summation of Subliminal Stimuli and Refractory Period are described. In the end, the very Important question, "Why cardiac muscle does not Fatigue?" is explained in context of the whole lecture.
