South Korea and the United States have wrapped up their annual joint training drills... one day ahead of schedule. The Combined Forces Command says the computer-simulated Ulchi Freedom Guardian exercises successfully met all its training goals. It added... the two allies were able to elevate their joint defense capabilities, as well as their readiness alongside the UN partner states this year. Analysts anticipate the completion of the exercises, which North Korea considers a war game, could pave the way for rosier inter-Korean ties going forward.
