From the same authors of "Life is Strange". This game for me is....ok. Not bad, but not very good either. It may be an unpopular choice, but that's my opinion. There are many elements that could have been improved a lot, especially considering that we are in 2018 and the progress of video games. But let's go in order. The gameplay is basically a third-person semi-open world RPG and the player takes control of a vampire (my favorite supernatural creature along with succubi, just for the record; the old-school kind, not the shitty ones that shine in the sun). I don't think anyone has made a style like this before, even if in some ways it reminds of other famous games, but it's still averagely enjoyable, between exploration and combat with different attack choices and a functional and in some cases punitive battle system. Then if someone wants to play as a "good" it will make life much more difficult. I like when you can choose your karmic path and that when you are good it increases the difficulty! The downside is that it tends to become wooden and monotonous. Outside of battles and secondary missions (which basically consist only of exploration and fighting), it doesn't have much else to offer. If they had added a pinch of variety, like the possibility of doing zero kills in total like in Dishonored, put some fast transport points (completely absent in the game), different skills and some different playstyle, like the possibility of operating on patients, I don't know....it would have been much more fun. In the long run, between the practically inevitable fights and the constant backtracking it tends to tire a bit. The graphics are decent. Even if they don't seem adequate for this generation. It could have been taken care of a little better though. The lip-sync sometimes doesn't work as it should. The plot is the strong point of the game. There is a lot of "lore" and many optional dialogues that make you understand the various backgrounds of the story and also secondary sub-stories related to the characters. Not to mention that the choices made by the player have a very heavy influence on the game world and secondary characters! To be honest, I am more interested in the plot and the relationships with the NPCs than the gameplay itself. Only flaw: sometimes there is a bit too much verbal exposition.... as they say in English: "Show, don't tell"! (Show, don't tell). No Italian dubbing. Oh well, I expected it from Dotnod Entertainment. At least they put subtitles in Italian (even if in some cases they forgot to translate some things). Every now and then there are some frame drops, not to mention the long loading times that are present even in tiny areas. I'm sorry about this but for me it is not acceptable in this generation. The developers then blatantly lied twice saying that "There would be no other monsters outside of the protagonist" and "You can finish the game without killing anyone".... and I can't stand being made fun of. On a technical level it seems like a game from a generation ago, even if deep down I don't regret having bought it because of the story and the possibility of impersonating a vampire. I will play my game focusing more on the story and leaving the side quests out of the gameplay, although I will play them outside of the recordings since I will NOT kill any Citizens....basically I will do the side quests to level up, since if you don't kill the innocents there are no other ways to get experience outside of the side-quests. MODE: Without dying. Without killing Innocents (So playing in "Very Hard" mode) [Trophy "Not Even Once"] ----------- Introductory music remixed by Genesiskeys :    / genesiskeys
