On March 20, 2025, during the Golden State Warriors’ 117-114 victory over the Toronto Raptors, star point guard Stephen Curry suffered a pelvic contusion following a hard fall in the third quarter. At the time of the injury, Curry had contributed 17 points in 25 minutes of play.   The incident occurred as Curry drove to the basket, colliding with two defenders and landing awkwardly on his tailbone. He attempted to stand but required assistance to leave the court, receiving a supportive ovation from the Chase Center crowd.  An MRI later confirmed that Curry sustained a pelvic contusion without structural damage.
