Today's Catholic Mass Readings & Gospel Reflection – Wednesday, August 13, 2025

#FaithfulLeadership, #ChristianCorrection, #ChristInOurMidst, #MosesToJoshua, #CatholicReflection Today's Catholic Mass Readings & Gospel Reflection – Wednesday, August 13, 2025 Reading 1: Deuteronomy 34:1–12 Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 66:1–3a, 5 and 8, 16–17 Gospel: Matthew 18:15–20 Wednesday of the Nineteenth Week in Ordinary Time Lectionary: 415 My dear friends, today we are reminded that leadership must end in humility, and true community is built on truth and mercy. Let us carry with us the example of Moses, who trusted God's promise even from afar, and the teaching of Jesus, who desires that we be peacemakers within His Church. If someone has wronged us—or if we need correction—may we approach each other not with pride, but with love. We’re not alone: where even two gather, Christ is there. If you have prayer requests, please share them in the comments. Let us lift one another up, especially those who are struggling silently or carrying heavy crosses. This faith community is a gift, and your presence here matters. We look forward to seeing you again tomorrow, as we continue to walk together in God’s Word. Until then, may the Lord bless you, keep you, and give you His peace. ==== This Gospel reflection is 100% original—written, produced, and owned by The Word Today TV.
