BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY - December 27, 2022 | morning prayer | Your Daily Dose of God's Word. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. -1 John 4:16 INSPIRATION: God dwells in us as a result of His Love. How does He dwell in us? Through His Spirit. We have accepted the Spirit of God to reside in us and this means that we are now subjected to his counsel and his guidance. We are not slaves to our selfish cravings or desires. We are now able rise above them and live according to the way of the Spirit. PRAYER: Dear God, I thank you that I am now one with you as a result of your Spirit living within me. Father I ask that I will always pay attention to your will for me and not what my selfishness demands. In Jesus' name, I pray.
