Lenten Sermon Series, Wandering Heart: This Lent, we are focusing on the life and faith of one of Jesus’ most famous disciples. In Peter, we see a person who is both steadfast and unsteady, a dear friend and a betrayer, a follower and a wanderer. In Peter, we often see ourselves. By following Peter’s journey, we watch the story of Jesus unfold through the eyes of a very normal human trying to figure it all out—just like us. The Crucible’ Play: Living Spirit UMC (4501 Bloomington Ave, Minneapolis) is hosting Night Fire Theater Company’s production of The Crucible, there be no road between, by Arthur Miller beginning Friday, March 21 at 7 pm through Saturday, April 12, at 7 pm. The Crucible reminds us that “we are what we always were,” and the urgent need for us as a community to push back against this bigotry before we, like Salem, get consumed by it. Enjoy these free spring concerts that include members of our congregation! • Today, 3 pm, Roseville Lutheran Church (1215 Roselawn Ave W, Roseville) • Saturday, April 12, 3 pm, Augsburg University Sateren Auditorium (1977 S 7th ½ St, Minneapolis) Community Dinner: April 10: Thursday, April 10 at 5 pm, there is a free meal downstairs in the Fellowship Hall! A sign-up sheet is in the Commons for helping with the meal. All are welcome to partake. RECLAIM Plant Sale Update: Thank you to all who have placed orders for this year’s plant sale to benefit RECLAIM! Now we’re asking for help from more of you. Sunday, April 13 is the final day to place orders. At this time, we have only 1/3 as many orders as we had last year. Please take a few minutes to peruse the online order form - there are many great options - or complete a paper order form at church. Plants can be picked up and paid for on Saturday, May 10. Questions - talk to Mary Tholkes or Judy Jerde. Save the Date: Easter Eggstravaganza, Saturday, April 19, 1 to 2:30 pm. There will be activities and fun for the children of our community!
