He had a bull named Moti. Ramu and Moti had a deep friendship. Ramu took great care of his bull and Moti also worked hard in the fields. One year there was a severe drought in the village. The crops dried up and Ramu had nothing left to eat. He was very upset. Finally, out of helplessness, he sold his beloved bull Moti to a merchant. The merchant took Moti and put him to work pulling a heavy load of wood. He worked hard day and night, but missed his master Ramu a lot. After a few months, the merchant's eyes fell on the fair in Ramu's village, where bulls were racing. The merchant decided to put Moti in the race as well. But as soon as Moti started running, he saw Ramu standing far away. Out of joy, he ran with all his might and reached straight to Ramu. Ramu's eyes filled with tears. He requested the merchant to sell Moti back to him. The villagers also supported Ramu, and finally the merchant agreed. Ramu and Moti were reunited.
