Keir Starmer accuses Rishi Sunak of being ‘too weak’ to act following Raab suspension calls The Prime Minister “raised more questions than answers” when he announced Nadhim Zahawi would be sacked as Tory party chairman at the weekend, Sir Keir Starmer said. In angry exchanges in the Commons, Sir Keir asked Rishi Sunak to account for his decisions to keep Nadhim Zahawi and Dominic Raab in post despite allegations over Mr Zahawi's tax affairs and accusations of bullying against the deputy prime minister. Mr Sunak insisted he had acted properly, and retorted that the Labour party had faced similar accusations from its MP for Canterbury, Rosie Duffield.
