Paulina Lake Loop with hot springs - Adventure Guru
Paulina Lake Loop Trail is a ~ 7-mile dirt trail with a fair amount of volcanic rock to navigate around. There is a partly hidden hot spring on the far end of the lake, but it's tiny and often full of people. You'll see it in the video (look for people in dugout holes on the perimeter of the lake with railroad ties as a border. The warm water butts up against the lake and is kept separate by some railroad ties. The lake is stunning and the walk is very pleasant. If you're running the loop, be advised that it's pretty technical. Besides the lake, you enjoy views of obsidian rocks, surrounding mountains, and mossy trees. Access: Access: There is an Accessible bathroom at the trailhead, in the campground, and at Paulina Lake Lodge. The trail itself is packed with roots and rocks with a variety of inclines/declines.
