Lee Cooper Television Commercial

Through most of the 70s and 80s my advertising agency 'THEM' (Tarrant, Haysom & Manzie) had more fashion clients than anybody. In addition to Lee Cooper we created ads for In-Jean-ious, Faberge, Amco, Lee, Yakka, Staggers, Corfu, Blues Union and others I'm sure. In this case, we were forced to copy an international Lee Cooper ad (because only 100% Australian produced ads were allowed on television at the time). If anything, this production - shot in the old Essendon Airport Terminal) - may have even been an improvement on the original.
