In particular some news on BTS member Jungkook and Stray Kids. Stray Kids continued to showcase their immense popularity overseas by making it onto the annual "Top Artists" chart released by Billboard, where they joined BTS member Jungkook . According to Billboard's Year-End charts announced last Friday, Jungkook ranked 60th, while Stray Kids came in at 73rd on the "Top Artists" chart. On the Year-End chart for the main album chart, the Billboard 200, Jungkook's "Golden" ranked 80th, achieving the highest position among K-pop stars. Staying on the topic of Stray Kids Last Friday at 2 PM, Stray Kids released what they are calling a new genre of music called "SKZHOP HIPTAPE", starting off with the release of their new album called "HOP" and its first single "Walkin On Water." The "SKZHOP" naming process, was created when the members combined the abbreviation of their group name, SKZ, with hip-hop, resulting in SKZHOP. This album is their first new release in approximately five months since the mini-album ‘ATE’ came out on July 19th. The album format, "SKZHOP HIPTAPE," reflects Stray Kids’ constant effort to break free from conventional frameworks and reinforce their distinct musical universe. For this album, all members actively participated in creating new songs, resulting in a record that fully embodies Stray Kids’ signature sound. And lastly, some news about season 2 of Squid Game.
