MVO:The Occupational Safety and Occupational Health Legislation (Miscellaneous Amendments) Ordinance 2023 is in effect. The maximum penalty has been raised to a $10 million fine and two years’imprisonment for serious contraventions. Employers, employees and other duty holders should work together to prevent accidents. Complying with occupational safety and health legislation is a shared obligation for employers and employees.
