Sunday Worship - August 21, 2022

Acts 16:11-15 - Lydia Sometimes God brings people together in unexpected ways. Paul and his companions had various ideas on where they were to go next on their misisonary journey, but they kept getting redirected. Finally, Paul had a vision of a man pleading for their help - but when they arrived where they were going, instead they found a group of women. Lydia was one of those women, a leader and a business woman who eagerly listened, was baptized, and immediately opened her home and offered her resources to Paul, Silas, and Timothy. From this partnership, the church at Philippi began and the gospel spread. God often brings us into relationship with people who we aren't expecting or looking for - and yet if we are paying attention, we can work together share God's love and do God's work in new ways and new places. We worship live and in person every Sunday at 9:30 AM, and you are invited to worship with us! --------------------------------------------- Music "Come, All You People."
