Boy George and Kelly Rowland embroiled in heated clash on The Voice

He was dubbed the most controversial artist in The Voice's history when he put on a show-stopping vocal looping performance in his blind audition. And during his knockout round, Sam Perry, 28, was at the centre of drama yet again on Monday night's episode.Competing against Madi Krstevski, 17, and Emily Green, 20, Sam caused tension between coaches Kelly Rowland and Boy George who  became embroiled in one of the show's most heated exchanges to date. The talented coaches clashed over Sam, arguing profusely as they debated whether the vocal looper deserved to be in the competition or whether he had an unfair advantage over the singers. 'This is a very controversial knockout because you know, I'm going to go straight for Sam. You're a little bit of a red sock in a white wash because this is called The Voice and you're not really a singer,' George told Sam after he performed a rendition of Survivor by Destiny's Child.'I do think you're going to divide the nation because there's a lot of big singers getting sent home and what you're doing is kind of another area.' But Kelly couldn't disagree more, hitting back with 'The show is called The Voice.'And although Boy George cut her off and rolled his eyes before calling Sam a 'DJ' rather than a singer, Kelly continued to stand her ground.'He's still using his voice! ' she fired off at him before accusing the Culture Club star of only being negative because he was 'intimidated'.And the altercation only continued to get more fiery when George accused Kelly of 'arguing with herself'.   'I'm not arguing with myself, I'm arguing with the Queen of England,' the US songstress retorted. And while Kelly eventually picked Sam to go through to the next round, Boy George later conceded he would have stolen the vocal looper for his team if she had chosen someone else.
