In It To Spin It - Episode 150 - Seratones

I was very excited to line up this interview with the talented members of Seratones. I discovered their music when their record label Fat Possum mistakenly sent me their debut 7" last year. I instantly loved AJ Haynes voice, but I had no idea how I would enjoy the live show. I was absolutely blown away by the performance. Every part of it: the soloing, the stage presence, the vocals, the cover of Kick Out The Jams that sent the show from fantastic to unbelievable. We met up with the band the morning after the show on Sunday, after they had grabbed their gear and had lunch. I'm proud to say they took my suggestion for a good sushi place, too. This band is poised to create some fantastic music together as they grow personally and sonically, as AJ puts it. Keep an ear out for their new stuff and enjoy!
