Chord inversions allow you to play 1 chord up and down the fretboard by changing the order of the notes. These chord inversions are commonly used in Jazz but you’ll find them used in many different styles. In this lesson I’ll show you how to play Drop 3 GMaj7 chord inversions up and down the fretboard. I’m using GMaj7 because it falls nicely on the fretboard but these are moveable chord shapes that can be played in any key.
