Microsoft has confirmed that its recent 50% price hike for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate won’t affect current subscribers in select regions. The change only applies to new sign-ups “for now,” so long as existing users keep their auto-renewal active. If a subscriber cancels and repurchases, however, they’ll be charged the new higher rate. Countries spared from the immediate increase include Germany, Ireland, Italy, South Korea, Poland, and India. The US and UK are not included in the exemption.
