Simon Williams Anchor/MMJ Reel 2021

I'm a weekend anchor and MMJ at WPDE in Myrtle Beach, after working as a reporter in El Paso for two years. One of my favorite parts of TV news is the freedom for creativity, and in the last two years I've created a Spanish news segment for our website, become certified to help fly the drone, and launched a 'notification push' initiative on the weekends to draw in more online viewers. On the weekends, I work with our producer to try new formats showcasing big stories, filmed and edited cold open intros, and ran to film breaking news scenes before the show. 00:00 - Anchor moments 01:22 - Full top stories block 05:22 - Spanish segment 05:38 - Reporter standups 06:52 - Full MMJ package
