서울공예박물관 안동 별궁이 위치한 이 땅은 궁의 동쪽의 종친부와 더불어 안가로 자리 잡은 곳이다 이 공간을 21세기의 예술 공공공간으로 삼아 도시의 단절된 시간과 골목길을 엮는 다소곳한 마당으로 탈바꿈시키려 한다 의도된 질서보다는 땅에 축척된 역사의 시간을 엮는 것으로부터 얻어진 질서가 도시의 시간 연결체가 된다 감고당길에서 내려오다 만나는 사고석담 모서리의 모습은 보존하되, 콘크리트 벽으로 흉하게 끊어진 부분 아래에 남은 문지방은 후정을 바라보는 창으로 변용하여 옛것에 대한 오마주를한다 은행나무의 남쪽의 석축은 그대로 유지하며, 가파른 계단을 감고당길로 완만하게 펼쳐 화계로 만들어 지형을 회복한다 땅이 가지고 있는 요소들은 고고학적으로 재발견이 되며 도시를 재생하는 원리가 되었다 The “Craft Ground” Seoul Crafts Culture Museum, with its concept as a crafts network, suggests a “sharing platform” that fills a void instead of providing an overly extravagant design of both the exterior and interior of the building The two core design elements are the Redemption of Topography and the Craft Hut Part of the wide school field was paved with arch-stone, thus restoring the traditional appearance of the land by creating an area reminiscent of the platform in front of Jongmyo Palace and transforming the place into a plaza capable of hosting a variety of events Additionally, the stone walls of the detached palace helped minimize this modification whilst also ensuring an efficient flow of people from the city by opening both the lot’s Gingko tree knoll and the art platform to visitors The Craft Hut, a new construction, also presented the minimum amount of equipment to create a space that visitors to the Craft Culture Museum could create themselves, rather than restricting the usage of the area During the day, it is used in connection with the exhibition hall, and at night it is linked to the Donated Craft Center’s cafe, serving as a unique platform for networking and discussions to take place between visitors and artists by staying open late ▪️ Design : 2016 ▪️ LOCATION : Jongno-gu, Seoul, Repubilc of Korea ▪️ USE : Civic & Culture ▪️ AREA : 12,823 60㎡ ▪️ G F A : 10,627 77㎡ ▪️ FLOORS : F5 ▪️ CLIENT : Urban Space Improvement Bureau, Seoul Metropolitan Government #서울공에박물관 #행림건축 *More on :
