Hidan and Kakuzu are drawing closer to the leaf village but is interupped my Asuma and his team. Asuma has been given orders by the Hokage to eleminate the akatsuki at all cost. Asuma steps up to fight Hidan, but during the fight he is killed by Hidan's curse Jutsu. Shikamaru along with Ino and Choji morns for the loss of their dying teacher.
