Police statement: The Bermuda Police Service responded to a report of a firearm incident that took place at 8:30pm Sunday, December 7th on South Avenue in the Sunnyside Park area of Southampton. Upon police arrival it was ascertained that a 29 year old Pembroke man was shot and subsequently died as a result of his injuries. A full investigation into this incident has commenced. As this investigation is in its infancy no further information will be given until tomorrow Monday, December 8th when senior investigators will give a full update to the media.
