Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, I am Fr. Stabin John and Thanks for joining this section of Catholic Meditation. Today 28th August, 2020, 21st Friday in Ordinary Time. Today’s first reading is from, 1 Corinthians 1: 17-25 and gospel reading is from the gospel of Matthew 25: 1-13. Today the Catholic Church is commemorating St Augustine. In today's gospel Jesus speaks about the Parable of the Ten Virgins. It speaks about preparedness. In this meditation we are thinking about the importance of alertness or preparedness or watchfulness for the coming of Jesus. We should be ready when Jesus comes to meet us.
