Behold the Face of a Synodal Church - 5 Mar 2025 - Mr Jon Neil Perfecio

We are honored to have Mr. Jon Neil P. Perfecio, a dedicated missionary, advocate, and faculty member at the University of San Carlos, as our speaker for this month's Montfortian Synodality Session on "Behold the Face of a Synodal Church". About the Speaker: Jon Neil P. Perfecio is a faculty member at the University of San Carlos – Senior High School in Cebu City. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of San Jose Recoletos in Cebu. Motivated by a passion for service and a deep commitment to the Church’s mission, he serves as the program coordinator for the Cebu Archdiocesan Social Advocacies (CASA), which accompanies marginalized and oppressed sectors within the Archdiocese of Cebu. As an educator, Jon Neil taught at various schools and universities in Cebu from 2008 to 2021 before joining USC Senior High School in 2022. He earned his Master of Arts in Theology, specializing in Religious Education, at the Saint Alphonsus Theological Mission Institute (SATMI) in Davao City, where he was a president’s scholar at Ateneo de Davao University in 2024. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Theology at the same institution.
