Will Smith Recalls Shame of Slapping Chris Rock at Oscars in Emotional interview With Trevor Noah

Will Smith has given his first talk show interview, eight months after his altercation with Chris Rock at this year's Oscars. Will Smith said he “just lost it” when he slapped comedian Chris Rock on Oscars night in his first late-night interview since the infamous slap earlier this year. “I was gone,” Smith said on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.” “That was a rage that had been bottled for a really long time,” Smith said. The actor told Noah he was “going through something” and lost his cool that night. “That was a horrific night as you can imagine,” he said. “There’s many nuances and complexities to it, you know, but at the end of the day, I just, I lost it and I guess what I would say is you just never know what somebody’s going through.” #WillSmith #Slapping #ChrisRock #TrevorNoah #Oscars #Shame #interview
