UP ATS Arrests Two Jaish-E-Mohammed Militants From Saharanpur

The Uttar Pradesh Police ATS arrested two terrorists linked to the Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in Saharanpur. The two arrested terrorists have been identified as Shahnawaz Ahmed Teli from Kulgam and Aqib from Pulwama. Sources told India Today TV that both the terrorists will be questioned in connection with the Pulwama terror attack, where 40 CRPF jawans orchestrated by JeM. "Shahnawaz was tasked by to recruit members for Jaish. He is also an expert in grenade attack. We have evidence against him and once we have his custody, we will question him about the persons he has recruited," said the DG of Uttar Pradesh police, OP Singh. The UP ATS is in touch with the Jammu and Kashmir police and both the agencies are sharing information in connection with the terrorists.
