(PSALM 9:10 KJV) EXPLANATION: I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. "...they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee." (Psalm 9:10). Today man wanders in search of many things. Students are looking for courses. Adults seek wisdom. Worldly people seek money and material things. Politicians seek position and fame. But seek the Lord. Please search for him everyday. Seek His presence and His golden countenance. Seek His feet everyday and seek the good portion that will not forsake you. He never forsakes those who seek Him." The people of the world go to mountains and holy rivers in search of God. "Where is the Lord?" They wander for it. Who will solve our problems? Who will bring an end to our struggle? They are wandering everywhere looking for that. But there was only one person who came looking for man. He is Jesus Christ. That is why he came down from heaven to earth. He searched for us like a good shepherd who searches for a lost sheep. He picked her up from the muddy mud and hugged her to his chest. So is it not imperative that we seek Him and His presence? A youth sought physical strength in his youth. He exercised day and night for it. He strained his nerves and muscles. He learned various martial arts and became a great actor. What a pity! One day a little actress invited him to a party and put poisoned him through the food. Within minutes, his body collapsed like a rootless tree. He died. Now the body might have become a prey to the stinking maggots. Where is his physical body that he was looking for? A man of God sang, "Whatever the eye sees is either perishable or unseen." Where is the wealth of the rich? Where is the beauty of youth? All these are illusions and delusions. Such is the condition of those who seek worldly excellences. All these are temporary and perishable. But if you seek the Lord, you will be like Mount Zion forever. Those who seek the Lord have not only permanent blessings but also eternal blessings. Beloved, seek the Lord with love early in the morning. Love him with all your heart. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33). What was Ezra's testimony? "...that the hand of our God is good unto all them that seek him..." (Ezra 8:22). Are you waiting for God's blessing? Are some pains weighing you down for a long time? Do not worry! You trust in Christ. “The lion cubs are humbled and starving; Those who seek the Lord will not lack a good thing.” According to the scriptures (Psalm 34:10), it is God's will that there should be no shortage in your life. So don't be discouraged and you will reap your blessings in due time! Your faith will never fail (Proverbs 23:18). Rejoice in the truth of the good God. How true is the saying, "Lord, you do not forsake those who seek you;..." (Psalm 9:10). God has answered the prayer of the above couple and remembers you too. He will never forget you. Hold on to God's promises and pray. Your prayers will be fulfilled. What have you lost today? Almighty God will fulfill all your needs. Look to Him for the fulfillment of your desires. PRAYER: Lord Jesus! I believe that You will never forsake me who seeks Your face. As the scriptures say that the faces that look at you will shine, so make my face shine. Remove from my life everything that is not pleasing to You. I believe that You will meet my needs that I have prayed for. Fill my heart with good thoughts. It will lead you to live a life that pleases you.
