We just finished watching the Halo TV series, so it was about that time! We have 1 Multiplier Skull on this playthrough, The Iron Skull. Mostly for editing purposes to help me edit out any or all deaths we may have accumulated since it is on LEGENDARY and this is Wifey's first time playing. The original creators known as Bungie developed Halo 2 but later it was re-released as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection by 343 Industries as Halo 2 Anniversary. Players can switch between the "classic" graphics of the original game and new graphics developed for the remake by pressing the Back button on the controller at any time! In the last game, we played as Master Chief, a "Spartan" super soldier and earths last hope. We fought against the alien Covenant and raced them to uncover the secrets of a mysterious ringworld called "Halo". The Covenant believe Halo to be a Religious Artifact and believe it's activation will lead to divine salvation, Chief discovers that the rings are actually weapons of last resort, built by the Forerunners to contain a terrifying parasite called the Flood capable of infesting the galaxy at an instant. The human super soldier Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 and his AI companion Cortana learn from Halo's AI monitor, 343 Guilty Spark, that this supposed super weapon against The Flood and any activation of the Halos rather than destroy the flood will instead destroy all sentient life in the galaxy to prevent the Flood's spread.
