0% Completion Super Guide "Play"through - Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
This is how you "beat" Donkey Kong Country Returns Wii, 3D, & HD without actually completing any levels! After dying 5 times in a level in New Mode (8 extra lives on Wii), Professor Chops (that tutorial pig with the glasses) will pop up at the checkpoint stand and offer to have Super Guide complete the level for you. Letting Super Guide play the stage allows you to move on past the level, but it will NOT count for completion, neither will you get ANY collectables the Super Guide picks up. Thus, a 0% Completion Run consists of many many deaths (5 deaths EVERY level, edited out for your viewing comfort), followed by watching the game play itself. :) Though the Super Guide moves slow at times, it never takes damage, so it's interesting to see how to move through these stages while avoiding all hazards. Offscreen, a lot of Banana Coins were grabbed to then purchase lots of Balloons/Lives, as sitting through the Game Over screen after every 5 deaths would take the run WAY longer to complete! You can see how to easily get coins from this video here: • How to Easily Get Banana Coins! - Donkey K... (it doesn't count towards completion percentage to exit the stage through the menu, so AVOID the barrel at the end of the level!) Also, a lot of coins (400!) are needed to purchase all of the orbs to access the final World, World 9 - Cloud, since these can't be collected by completing the K-Stages. (Though if you want to see Super Guide beat these stages, you can watch that here! • All K-Stages Super Guide - Donkey Kong Cou... ) The 0% "play"through ends at 9-9, Golden Temple, because Super Guide will not appear in that level. Overall, there's actually a bit of effort required to not play the game! ▪ Chapters 00:00:00 - Starting New Game 00:00:26 - Dying 5 Times 00:00:52 - Unlocking Super Guide 00:01:06 - 1-1 Jungle Hijinxs 00:03:36 - 1-2 King of Cling 00:07:26 - 1-3 Tree Top Bop 00:10:13 - 1-S Cranky Kong's Shop 00:10:49 - 1-4 Sunset Shore 00:14:13 - 1-5 Canopy Cannons 00:17:03 - 1-6 Crazy Cart 00:19:39 - 1-B Mugly's Mound 00:23:11 - 2-1 Poppin' Planks 00:26:45 - 2-2 Sloppy Sands 00:29:33 - 2-S Cranky Kong's Shop 00:30:04 - 2-3 Peaceful Pier 00:32:39 - 2-4 Cannon Cluster 00:34:47 - 2-5 Stormy Shore 00:37:31 - 2-6 Blowhole Bound 00:40:35 - 2-7 Tidal Terror 00:43:01 - 2-B Pinchin' Pirates 00:46:19 - 3-1 Wonky Waterway 00:49:25 - 3-2 Button Bash 00:53:43 - 3-3 Mast Blast 00:56:48 - 3-S Cranky Kong's Shop 00:57:17 - 3-4 Damp Dungeon 01:00:21 - 3-5 Itty Bitty Biters 01:04:39 - 3-6 Temple Topple 01:07:18 - 3-B Ruined Roost 01:09:54 - 4-1 Rickety Rails 01:12:34 - 4-2 Grip 'n' Trip 01:14:55 - 4-3 Bombs Away 01:17:06 - 4-S Cranky Kong's Shop 01:17:40 - 4-4 Mole Patrol 01:19:47 - 4-5 Crowded Cavern 01:22:26 - 4-B The Mole Train 01:27:33 - 5-1 Vine Valley 01:30:24 - 5-2 Clingy Swingy 01:34:11 - 5-3 Flutter Flyaway 01:37:19 - 5-4 Tippin' Totems 01:40:35 - 5-5 Longshot Launch 01:43:13 - 5-S Cranky Kong's Shop 01:43:43 - 5-6 Springy Spores 01:46:49 - 5-7 Wigglevine Wonders 01:49:47 - 5-8 Muncher Marathon 01:52:20 - 5-B Mangoruby Run 01:56:15 - 6-1 Sticky Situation 01:59:27 - 6-2 Prehistoric Path 02:01:39 - 6-3 Weighty Way 02:05:41 - 6-4 Boulder Roller 02:09:32 - 6-S Cranky Kong's Shop 02:10:04 - 6-5 Precarious Plateau 02:12:23 - 6-6 Crumble Canyon 02:15:37 - 6-7 Tippy Shippy 02:18:37 - 6-8 Clifftop Climb 02:21:18 - 6-B Thugly's Highrise 02:26:17 - 7-1 Foggy Fumes 02:29:55 - 7-2 Slammin' Steel 02:33:37 - 7-S Cranky Kong's Shop 02:34:10 - 7-3 Handy Hazards 02:36:42 - 7-4 Gear Getaway 02:39:00 - 7-5 Cog Jog 02:42:59 - 7-6 Switcheroo 02:47:25 - 7-7 Music Madness 02:51:02 - 7-R Lift-Off Launch 02:52:32 - 7-B Feather Fiend 02:56:50 - 8-1 Furious Fire 03:00:38 - 8-2 Hot Rocket 03:02:50 - 8-3 Roasting Rails 03:04:56 - 8-S Cranky Kong's Shop 03:05:26 - 8-4 Smokey Peak 03:08:02 - 8-5 Bobbing Basalt 03:11:16 - 8-6 Moving Melters 03:14:02 - 8-7 Red Red Rising 03:17:03 - 8-B Tiki Tong Terror 03:22:23 - Ending 03:11:16 - Golden Temple, No Orbs 03:25:09 - Collecting Orbs 03:25:09 - Golden Temple, All Orbs 03:27:31 - 9-1 Crushin' Columns 03:31:12 - 9-2 Gushin' Geysers 03:34:50 - 9-3 Spiky Surprise 03:37:29 - 9-4 Mischievous Moles 03:39:56 - 9-5 Topsy Turvy 03:43:25 - 9-6 Tar Ball Fall 03:47:06 - 9-7 Robo Factory 03:51:45 - 9-8 Lavawheel Volcano 03:54:19 - 9-9 Golden Temple 03:55:36 - All Levels "Cleared" 03:55:53 - 0% Completion ▪ Game Corner Game Corner features no commentary 4K 60FPS gameplay, 100% full game walkthroughs, and first playthroughs.
