This Coltrane Scale Trick Will Change Your Playing!

John Coltrane is one of my favorite musicians to ever grace this planet, and it's not secret that he was a huge fan of scale patterns, and used them a lot in his playing. Here is a signature 4 note scale pattern that I hear Coltrane use at some point in nearly every one of his solos. After breaking down the pattern and applying it to the guitar, I dig in to how we can apply this idea to ii-V progressions. Hope you enjoy!
